Weekly Smile

Hello everyone hope your all doing great on your side of the world.

I woke up this morning to the sun shining through my window. Usually I would rather have rain, but I was actually quite happy for the sunshine.

For the last couple of years I have been searching for a new family physician. Some of you may remember that my last one, the one I had for almost 15 years, opened up a practice in another county, which left me “doctor hopping” for two years. I was still at the same medical office, but I was left seeing different doctors everytime, and for me that was not good.

I had a doctor in mind that I really connected with. I have know him for several years. The last few times I ran into him I would stop him and ask if he would please be my doctor. He would always let me down nicely by explaining that he didn’t have openings for new patients. But that didn’t stop me from asking, every single time.

Well today was the day he finally agreed to become my family physician. I was so thrilled when he told me. I must have thanked him 20 times. It is such a relief to finally have someone I connect with.

So what made me smile this week was that finally, after searching for two years, I finally found a doctor that I am comfortable with. My persistence finally paid off haha.

Have a wonderful week,

Christina
